Product review: Adaptable liner for non-ROOF helmets too
After an extensive search, I bought this to replace the liner in a non-ROOF helmet - this seemed to be the simplest padded insert for the top of a helmet available.
Although there are plastic poppers at the front, and a plastic stiffener at the back, they are stitched in, and so the stitching can be cut to remove these parts. You're left with a foam-backed soft liner for the top of the head, The original foam in my Suomy helmet had disintegrated, and this provides the perfect replacement without much alteration. Maybe a little two-sided tape at the front to hold it in place, and I should be good to go.
